Nocturne paintings really stand out from the usual daylight . The mystery in darks with the vibrant colors of illuminated objects is unique to night scenes . You don't see such vibrancy in daylight as everything is bleached out by sunlight.
My intention here was to capture the night feel of the scene with the glowing neon signs and cozy light bulbs to evoke a feeling of tranquility
