Meet Shreyas Pailkar – Oil Painter & Gamer

Oil painting artist, based in India.

​I grew up in the house of an artist. For my entire childhood I was surrounded by my father's paintings and art books. I picked up drawing at a young age mostly working with graphite pencil/charcoal, drawing fanart of comics and games I played.

 

I have experimented with various art mediums ranging from colored pencils, watercolors and finally fell in love with oil paints.

Currently I am focusing on creating art around my favorite games, Counter Strike and Fallout. I have been playing the game for more than 10 years now and take immense pleasure while painting the scenes which also reflects in the quality of my artworks. No brush stroke is half heartedly placed on the canvas and each painting is created with passion while maintaining the visual balance and aesthetics in mind.
